Yup, back out on the bridges and starting to make $$ again. They just made me a foreman. So far all it means is a white hard hat and more resposibilities, but I'm hoping for the company truck and gas card like the other foreman. That's the good news. The bad news is my wife's work is shutting the doors forever _________________ President, Mount Moosilauke ATV Club

Ya know Vern, at one time I was know as a genral forman, then the company said from now on you guys are field reps. I said do I get more money. they said no. I just told them I had all the titles I needed, like the a$$hole, the C--- sucker, and then some. so good luck _________________ Jack wheeler

too bad about your wife, who does she work for?
She is (was?) the office manager for Mt. Carr Building Products. She is now the only employee left. They are having a liquidation sale now, so if you need cheap lumber go on up. 2006 was their last profitable year and the owner has been spending his hard earned retirement money to keep it going. I don't blame the guy a bit for closing. He is a 60 something year old logger who spends at least ten hours a day in the woods. He tried to keep it going because he is a huge supporter of local business, but the economy is just too bad. _________________ President, Mount Moosilauke ATV Club

As much as I need more money, I'd rather have the truck and gas card. I'm spending over $150 a week just driving to work and my truck has 180,000 miles on it. With my wife losing her job a new truck is out of the question. My winter income comes from plowing so I don't want to wear my truck out just commuting in it. As it is now I have a company truck I use while at work, but I have to leave it on the bridge at 4:00 when I head home. The guys running the other two jobs use them as daily drivers. _________________ President, Mount Moosilauke ATV Club
