Cool! I have some used 4x4's here for the legs.
I'll figure 2 configurations unless you know how you want it to go. Need to measure what you want on it to. _________________ I'm not too smart, but I can lift heavy things!

Yep I forgot about the 4x4's
I'm only looking for this to be about 6' in length (just long enough to put my commercial mower underneth and the trike on top. Jack said his friend had built something similar, but longer. Ideally, I would like to build a second storage shelf for the snowblowers. _________________ New Durham Valley ATV Club!

Scott, the storage unit is 10 x 30. If at all possible, I'd like for the storage shelf to go along the back of the wall.
I'm also thinking of ways I could possibly stand my trailer up against the wall. This would save me a ton of space _________________ New Durham Valley ATV Club!

Hi Jack,
Does your friend have documented plans on how he built his storage unit? If it's all possible, I'd like to get started with this within two weeks or so.
Thanks again,

That would be awesome, thank you again for the wood and your help! I'm envisioning how this would look in my mind. It would be nice if I could put small dolly wheels on it, that way, I can move it anywhere within the garage like the one pictured here http://rackalot.com/ATV_Storage.html
P.S. I got your trimmer running, but I'm going to have to remove the carburetor and give it a good bath _________________ New Durham Valley ATV Club!

So what are your plans for August 28th and 29th? I need to know what bolts and other pieces that are needed to put this together.
Hope Depot is across the street from me and I would like to have everything needed before putting this together.
Thank you guys.

I have 3/8 toggle bolts w/ washers & nuts for attaching the frame to the 4x4's. Everything else is screws. Get a 5lb box of 3" deck screws(for frame) from Home depot. What are you decking it with? Plywood? 5/4 deck boards? Any of which I have the screws for. _________________ I'm not too smart, but I can lift heavy things!

Hi Scott. Let me pay you for the bolts/washers & nuts. How much are they?
I will pick up the deck screws this weekend. Jack said I could use the 2/8 boards for the decking. Do you think I should use plywood instead? The heaviest item that will be on this is an ATC which is about 400 lbs. _________________ New Durham Valley ATV Club!

I totally understand Jack. I will take good care of you and Scott for helping me with this. I'm no carpender by any means and I hope I can learn a few things _________________ New Durham Valley ATV Club!

Don't know how much lumber you got there Pete, but 2x8 will go dow with the 3" deck screws. As for the bolts, don't worry about it. I still have half a bucket full I use for building decks. _________________ I'm not too smart, but I can lift heavy things!
